Agartala, Dec 7: Up for grabbing six seats, the BJP will be launching a massive campaign in North Tripura. A public meeting to be organized by the BJP Yuba Morcha will be held at Dharmanagar, which will be addressed by Assam Finance Minister and senior leader Himanta Biswa Sarma.
During his stay in Dharmanagar, Sarma will meet party leaders to finalize the organizational strategies for the forthcoming Assembly election scheduled to be held in February next. BJP state president Biplab Deb and Provari Sunil Deodhar also will remain present during the meet.
Apart from the youth, the party is also targeting the minorities and Tea garden workers of the districts, who play a crucial role in determining the electoral fate of any party. The BJP is making an all out effort to maximize their support for the saffron party.
For the first time the BJP Minority Morcha will be organizing a public rally on December 13 that will be addressed by former Union Minister Sahanawaz Hussain.
The party is also launching a massive campaign among the tea garden workers. Besides, MLA from Assam’s Ratabari constituency Kripanath Mala will camp here to bring them in the party fold. Some other tea worker leaders are also likely to visit the districts.
