The debate about introducing goal-line technology to assist match officials is being treated as a central issue and questions have now been raised as well. |

| Comics are a kids best friend!
Know of any comics that are a grown-up's best friend?
The genre of graphic novels or comics written for a mature or adult readership hasn't yet caught on in India in a big way, but it is an important, albeit small, genre in the west.
Graphic novels, made commercially popular by companies like DC's Vertigo and Dark Horse Comics, have broken the barriers of what is 'serious' literature, with works that rival the best of conventional ('word') novels in complexity, narrative and subject matter.
While some graphic novels have been standalone works of fiction, others have taken existing comic-book characters and given it a deeper, darker twist.
So here's to the enfant terrible of the literary world- the graphic novel. |

| The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on Monday clarified that it has not initiated any move to bring the fabled Kohinoor diamond back to India. “But we would always love to get it back. It could pave the way for the return of other artifacts too. But the government has to initiate the move,” said Urmila Sant, director of antiquities and museum department, denying reports that the ASI had requested the British government last month to return the jewel to India. |
