Hemanta Kumar Sarmah

Architects of doom
Vijaylakshmi Barua

Harrison Ford once said in an interview many years ago that building a house yourself was a very expensive proposition. Before his success in Hollywood, he had worked as a carpenter so he probably knew what he was talking about. He admitted that carpentry was a passion, and that he was building his own home at that time. ?That must be tremendously satisfying,? said the interviewer. ?Yes,? said Ford, ?and tremendously expensive. And very, very expensive. Far more than paying someone who knows what he?s doing.?..
