Good versus Evil

 Good versus Evil

By Jayanta Topadar

It is very easy to tarnish one's image,
But it is too tough to bring it back!
The world is crowded with very critical people
And we have to be aware of this reality.

The truth is always bitter.

If any injustice is done to any innocent human being,
Then God will deliver the right judgement,
Because He is omnipotent and unbiased!
He has no sugary tongue;
Whatever is true, it is bitter!

Evil designs won't work
While Lord Shiva opens His 'Trinetra' (the third eye).

He needs no facts and figures!!
The truth triumphs at the end.

Hey Human Soul! If you are clean through the bottom of your heart,
No negative stones 'pelted' at you
Can dare touch you.

Just believe in God.
You can win over all darkness of negativity...
And see the light of the good day!

The evil designs will be vanquished by goodness.
Just pray to the Lord Shiva
With all self-esteem.

God is omnipresent.
Only the divine seeker can attain
A strengthened and consolidated state
Of the mind.

Never give in!
Do stand up again with all positivity and right self-esteem!
God is always there in your beautiful heart...
Indeed, you can win!

No Trespassers
Arindam Barooah

You may have a hunch
Of my heartbeats.
You may feel
My gulp of air,
As you walked up to me.
Yet, you may not bump into.
You are a trespasser.
I stand guard,
Rigid, unwavering.
Making sure nothing passed
Trying to chase my soul.

Why am I always so drunk?
Actually,
I hate crying before God
And yet,
I love to swim
In my tears that flow
Each breath;
Conspiracy...you see,
You ask no direction
When the wings are free!
Ever wondered why it
Always has to be
You and me?

The Becoming
Swapnajyoti Bordoloi

 I do not know why
Am I still alive to die
Writing about you every day;
Day in, day out,
All jumbled up inside,
Yet smiling
Fanatically outside
To please all around me
With the same thorns
Bleeding inside!

That's why they say,
The wise ones...
"You see,
Some stay behind,
Those love-struck morons
From another time...
Long after they are
Buried or burned;
A temple or the graveyard
All alike to them in their eternal wait!
Listen...
Beware of that
Love thirsty lot...!"

I wonder...
Am I doomed too?
