Army maintains vigil in Baksa

lbari, Dec 31: The army has been stationed in the northern part of Baksa district to avert any sort of violence following the violence that took place in Kokrajhar, Udalguri and Sonitpur districts. Peace committees were constituted in different places under Barbari, Baganpara, Simla, Gobardhan, Goreswar and Mushalpur police station. Curfew was relaxed from 6 am to 8 pm on Wednesday. The Circle  Officer, Civil SDO, ADC of Baksa district visited the Adivasi pocket areas in greater Doomni and grijuli area and asked them to be alert against any sort of violence. Army jawans are keeping strict vigil against anti–social elements.
