Ering visits Kakki village

Itagar, December 31: Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering has exhorted the people to be aware of the safety measures and take precaution to avert tragedies that fire accidents bring. “We witness many horrific fire accidents in different parts of in the state every year because of our carelessness, ignorance and unplanned houses that are made of highly inflammable bamboo and the toko leaves,” the MP said while addressing the people on his visit to Kakki village under ri–Koyu subdivision in East Siang district yesterday, an official release informed. He said, the people must understand that victims not only lose their hard earned properties but also lose their priceless traditiol orments forever. “Unfortutely our people realize only after the fire accident had actually taken place,” he said and advised the villagers to send their children to schools regularly and people to join hands for progress and prosperity of the state as a whole. Ering accompanied by MLA Kento Ri and ADC Moki Loyi visited also attended a public meeting in the newly constructed community hall which was formally iugurated today by the ADC. Notably, an amount of ten lakh was sanctioned by the MP from his local area development fund during his last visit to the village. While extending his post Christmas and New Year greeting to the people Ering took stock of the ongoing developments of the area and sanctioned three lakhs to develop draige system in the village. Speaking on the occasion, ADC Loyi extended his gratitude to the MP for providing funds and appealed the villagers to take care of the said hall once created. He further advised the people to maintain peace and tranquility for faster development of the people, the release added.
