T?vez leaves door open for Boca Juniors

Turin, Jan 1: Striker Carlos Tévez does not plan to renew his Juventus contract which runs until June 2016, despite the Italian club’s desire to do so. The Argentine has consequently left the door open for a possible return to Boca Juniors.

"I’m not thinking about signing an extension because it doesn’t feel right, but I will respect my contract," the former Manchester City and United star was quoted as saying by marca.com.

"My plan is to see out my contract. I’ve said that since the very day when I joined Juve. I have a year and a half to go. It’s difficult to leave when you’re playing well at this level. You have to be relaxed and enjoy it. I don’t plan to drive myself mad over the idea of going back," he added.

Tévez was careful not to divulge too much on a possible return to Boca. Club president Daniel Angelici visited the striker in early December in order to discuss the topic, at the same time when Juventus revealed that they wanted the player to extend his current deal by one or two years. IANS
