Cultural programme to be organized by HAHI

GUWAHATI, January 2: One day–long programme is going to be organized by the popular facebook group, “HAHI”, on the occasion of “Silpi Divas” on January 17, 2015 with a view to pay homage to the great artiste and lyrist Jyoti Prasad Agarwala. The programme will comprise a “Solo Jyoti Sangeet Competition” which ascribes three positions – 1st, 2nd and 3rd commemorating Late Harmaya Deka, Late Khagen Ch. Das and Late Ganesh Talukdar with prize money worth Rs. 5,555, Rs. 3,333 and Rs. 2,222 respectively, a press release issued by the group said.
