AGP members resolve to work for welfare

DIBRUGARH, January 6: An interaction between the members of the Dibrugarh town committee of Asom Ga Parishad (AGP) was held at the party’s district office here recently. The president of the Dibrugarh district unit of AGP, Pukon Baruah, chaired it.

The party members resolved to devote themselves to the welfare of the community. The programme was enlivened with the recitation of poetry, performance of songs and dance. Former MLA, Kiran Kumar Gogoi and Dr Uttara Duwara actively took part in it. Former Principal–in–charge of DHSK Commerce College, Kalpa Khound, shared her experience of foreign travel while writer Arati Das talked about her college days and meeting with music maestro Dr Bhupen Hazarika.  The president and secretary of the Dibrugarh town committee, Kalyan Sonowal and Dwipam Baruah respectively, secretary of the district unit, Putul Sonowal, were also present on the occasion.
