50th session of Assam Science Society begins

MORIGAON, January 8: The 50th session of Assam Science Society got under way at Borahmihir Khetra in Morigaon from Thursday.

The door of the 50th session of the Assam Science Society was iugurated by Dr Bhaben Ch. Neoug, Principal of Gagiroad College at Borahmihir Khetra. The flag of Assam Science Society, Morigaon was hoisted by HK Devasarma, president of Assam Science Society, Morigaon. It was followed a floral tribute offered by freedom fighter Sasikanta Hazarika.

Under the initiative of Ashok Deka, secretary of Assam Science Society, Morigaon, a semir on ‘New perspective in Science and Technology Education’ was held. The 50th session of Assam Science Society will conclude on January 11.
