ULFA cadre arrested

SIVASAGAR, January 8: Demow Police launched a special operation on Wednesday night  and apprehended one ULFA(I) cadre identified as Bitu Rahman (28) at Demow when he was travelling in a vehicle from Dibrugarh. A .22 pistol and four rounds of live ammunition were recovered from his procession, said police and informed that a case has been registered with the Demow PS (Case No. 07/2015) under section 25(1–A) of Arms Act.
