Chief Minister at food court and interacts with participatory team

Guwahati,  January 9:  The 2nd day programme of the 19th tiol Youth Festival is going on in full swing at Guwahti with enthusiasm and gaiety.

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today visited main festival venue at the Nehru Stadium, Guwahati. He also visited the food court situated at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati. The Chief Minister met the youths coming from different states and union territories and took stock of the hospitality and other facilities that have been extended to them in the form of food, lodging, accommodation etc.

The 2nd day programme included folk dances, one act plays, classical dances, folk songs, classical instrument solo performances in 6 different venues of Guwahati. Besides these, suvichar and youth convention were also organised today at Don Bosco School, Guwahti.

During his visit to food court, the Chief Minister interacted with contingents representing different states and union territories. The youths representing varied culture, languages clad in colourful traditiol attires, expressed their great satisfaction over the hospitality and other facilities provided in the festival. The Chief Minister also had his lunch with the participatory teams in the food court. During his interaction with different participants, the Chief Minister stated that it was indeed a proud privilege for Assam to host the grand festival and will leave no stone unturned to provide the utmost hospitality and care to all the participant teams.
