AITA Championship Series Tennis begins

GUWAHATI, June 11: The AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament for boys and girls U-16 and 18 years got under way at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal today. In the boys singles Kritanta Sarma of Assam seeded top in both the events. On the other hand Kristi Boro and Ishika Chakma, both from Assam, seeded 1st and 2nd in both the girl’s singles under 16 and 18 events of the tournament. All the seeded players sailed to the next round with easy victory against their opponents.
