Gohpur youths pay homage to Nilotpal, Abhijeet

GOHPUR, June 18: About 300 youths, including noted personalities of Gohpur subdivision, came together at the Kanaklata Baruah-Mukunda Kakati Park on the bank of the historic Borpukhuri pond to stage a silent protest and to seek justice in the mob lynching case in Karbi Anglong where two youths, Nilotpal Das and Abhijeet Nath, lost their lives. The youths lit 1,001 earthen lamps on the bank of Borpukhuri.
