NAGAON, June 20: Nagaon District Magistrate on Wednesday promulgated 144 CrPC with immediate effect in the entire Nagaon portion of Kaziranga National Park, especially for the safety of wild animals which are coming out towards higher ground like roadsides after flood water devastated various portions of the park. In a press release issued by DIPRO, Nagaon, it was stated that the speed limit of all kinds of vehicles was fixed as 40 km per hour within Kaziranga National Park. But this speed limit was exempted for the emergency services like Army, ambulance, police and forest guards. In the same release it was also stated that carrying of arms and ammunition or other kind of weapons like bow and arrow and others were also banned in the entire location till issue of further orders by the authority.
