GUWAHATI, June 21: “A skill development institute with an objective to uplift the differently abled of the state will be established soon at Boko. For this, Rs 15 crore has been earmarked in the Budget,” said Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma. Attending a programme organised by the Pratibandhi Suraksha Sanstha, Assam to felicitate the differently abled meritorious students, who shone in the HSLC and HS examination, Brahma said that pursuing higher education by the differently abled students is a challenge.
