Flood scene improves

GUWAHATI, June 22: The flood scene in the State improved considerably today with all the rivers flowing below the danger level. However,3,67,402 people in 12 revenue circles across the five districts of Dhemaji, Hojai, Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi still remain affected in the aftermath of the floods and landslides of the last few days.Official reports say that there are still 39,760 inmates in 211 relief camps.
