Tutors seek teachers' status during Winter Session of Assam Legislative Assembly

The tutors who were appointed from primary to higher secondary school level in 2021 have appealed that they should be granted the status of teachers during the Winter Session of ALA

GUWAHATI: The tutors who were appointed from primary to higher secondary school level in 2021 have appealed that they should be granted the status of teachers during the Winter Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA) which will commence on December 21 next. The tutors have also appealed to the State Government to fulfil its announcement of providing gratuity of Rs 10 lakh each to those tutors who have retired or died so far.
