GUWAHATI: After falling from a multi-story building in Mumbai, a 28-year-old man from the Hailakandi area of Assam perished.

Masum Ahmed Barbhuiya is said to have passed away.

According to sources, Masum Ahmed Barbhuiya, a construction worker in Mumbai, perished after falling from a 23-story building.

His body was taken to a neighbouring hospital for an autopsy while a police squad raced to the scene.

On December 2, his body was transported from Mumbai to Mohammedpur, where it was interred.

The deceased had a wife and two children who survived him.

A young person from Hajo was discovered dead close to Kurla train station earlier in October.

Karthik Das, the deceased young man, had traveled to Mumbai in search of employment but was injured in an accident.

The victim's family, on the other side, has also appealed to the Assam government to assist in returning his mortal remains home as they are unable to do so due to financial constraints.

Additionally, A 40-year-old man from the Karimganj region of southern Assam perished in a horrific car accident in New Delhi earlier in November.

The dead Jahar Jyoti Deb lived in Teshua, an area of Karimganj North assembly seat in Karimganj district, and worked in New Delhi for a private business.

According to reports, Jahar, who had been living in New Delhi for a number of years, was involved in an accident on Friday night while he was traveling from work to his home.

He was killed when the two-wheeler he was riding collided with a moving automobile.

He was sent right away to a neighbouring hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Sources claim that the last rites were conducted in New Delhi.

Jahar is one of at least seven residents of Barak Valley who have passed away this year in various states. Munna Goala, 25, of the Cachar district passed away in Bengaluru on October 25 in strange circumstances.

On a railroad track, his severed head and other body parts were discovered.
