Noted media personality of Barak Valley Nilotpol Choudhury passes away

SILCHAR: The well known media personality of Barak Valley, Nilotpol Choudhury, passed away on Tuesday in a private nursing home here. He was one of the inspiring forces behind the phenomenal growth and expansion of Jugashankha Group of newspapers. His critical illness for the last few months prompted him to quit the post of executive editor of Jugashankha group. He was well behaved and well admired for his sweet and suave manners. In fact, his ever smiling face endeared himself to all. His demise is being deeply mourned by the media fraternity across the valley. He died at the age of 76, leaving behind his wife, one son and his wife as well as his admirers, well wishers and friends.
