Seminar on employability and leadership organized at Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: In a bid to imparting education to the students for acquiring skills in order to ensure employment in future, a seminar on employability and leadership was organized at Lakhimpur-Telahi-Kamalaboria College of Lakhimpur district on Thursday. The seminar was organized by Soft Skill and Personality Development (SSPD) Cell of the college in collaboration with National Service Scheme (NSS) unit.

The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Bubul Kumar Saikia, the Principal of the College. In his lecture, Dr. Saikia called upon the students to pay their heed to the importance of skill development in order to shape their future. Chief Executive Officer of Workneev Technology and Zonal Manager of ITC Academy, Pradip Chetri attended the seminar as resource person. In his deliberation, while addressing the students, Pradip Chetri explained about the required qualities with developed skills to ensure employment. Almost four hundred students of the college took part in the seminar. Programme Officer of NSS unit of the college-cum-Assistant Professor Debajyoti Chetia and Coordinator of SSPD Cell Banadeep Borah delivered analytical lectures on various processes of developing personality and skill by managing the weak points of the students. Coordinator of Internal Quality Assessment Cell Biju Kumar Sonowal, officers of ICT Academy Chetan Kumar, Likhit and academic staff of the college were present at the event.
