Fire broke out at the ground floor of Block-B of the Janata Bhawan

GUWAHATI: A fire broke out at the ground floor of Block-B of the Janata Bhawan at around 8:30 on Tuesday evening. However, fire tenders controlled the situation. Preliminary suspect for the cause of the fire is short circuit. Commissioner & Secretary, Secretariat Administration Department, M Angamuthu told The Sentinel, "All files are safe. Inquiry will be instituted."
