Health Minister Sarma: 7 more COVID-19 patients discharged from hospital

Amid the widespread panic created by the COVID-19 pandemic, seven more new coronavirus patients in Assam have been discharged from hospital as they recovered from the infectious disease, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the Health Minister said that the discharged patients, while one has been discharged from the GMCH, four were treated at the Silchar Medical College& Hospital and two received treatments at the Jorhat Medical College& Hospital. With the discharge of these seven corona patients, the total number of recovered COVID-19 patients in the state increased to 48, the Minister said.
