Conor McGregor has confirmed he will face social media star-turned-boxer Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. The announcement, made via X, has sent shockwaves through the combat sports world.
"The rumors of a bout with [Ilia] Topuria are false," McGregor tweeted. "I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."
A former two-weight UFC champion, McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg in a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021. Though he was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler earlier this year, an injured foot forced him to withdraw.
Logan Paul has four exhibition fights under his belt, including a draw with Floyd Mayweather, a loss and draw against KSI, and a recent victory over MMA fighter Dillon Danis.
