Indian Railways Prepares For Mahakumbh With Major Overhaul

Maha Kumbh 2025 is set to welcome 40 crore pilgrims, with an anticipated 5 crore visitors on Mauni Amavasya (January 29). Indian Railways is gearing up for this massive event with an extensive plan.

Stations like Prayagraj, Naini, Cheoki, and Subedarganj now have multi-language announcement systems to assist pilgrims from across India.

Infrastructure projects worth ₹3,700 crore, including key sections connecting the Sangam and adjoining areas, have been completed to enhance mobility.
