McDonald’s has officially opened its first restaurant in Sikkim’s capital, Gangtok. This marks the fast-food chain's second expansion in Northeast India, following its entry into Assam.
The Gangtok outlet is managed by Connaught Plaza Restaurants, a key franchise partner of McDonald’s in India. The company operates 190 McDonald’s restaurants and 75 McCafés across North and East India.
The Gangtok outlet spans 2,240 square feet and offers seating for 116 people. It features a modern design, providing customers with a comfortable and stylish dining experience.
Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director of McDonald’s India – North and East, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled to bring the McDonald’s experience to Gangtok, a vibrant and rapidly growing city.”
