The ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj has drawn millions of devotees, but one figure stands out – Atma Prem Giri Maharaj, a towering 7-foot-tall Russian saint who has become a social media sensation.

Dressed in saffron robes, wearing a rudraksha mala, and carrying a large 'jhola,' Atma Prem Giri's muscular build and commanding presence have earned him the nickname "Muscular Baba." Many compare him to Lord Parshuram, the warrior avatar of Vishnu.

Originally from Russia, Atma Prem Giri embraced Hinduism 30 years ago. Leaving his teaching career behind, he dedicated his life to spirituality and the promotion of Sanatan Dharma.

Now residing in Nepal, Atma Prem Giri spreads Hindu teachings and participates actively in religious activities. He is a respected member of the Juna Akhara, one of the oldest and most prominent Hindu monastic orders.
