Russia has developed an mRNA vaccine to fight cancer, as reported by TASS. The vaccine will be distributed for free to cancer patients, according to Andrey Kaprin, General Director of the Radiology Medical Research Center.
The vaccine is a collaborative effort involving multiple research centers. It is anticipated to be available for public use by early 2025, offering hope to millions of cancer patients.
Pre-clinical trials demonstrated the vaccine's ability to suppress tumor growth and potential metastases, stated Alexander Gintsburg of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology.
