The popular cartoon character Shin-Chan will visit India for the first time in his new movie, Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magnificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers (Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Cho Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers).

The latest movie, the first in the iconic franchise set in India, brings back screenwriter Kimiko Ueno and director Masakazu Hashimoto. It’s set to release in summer 2025.
The Crayon Shin-chan series, created by Yoshito Usui, first appeared as a comic in 1990 and quickly won fans over with its unique humor and relatable characters. After Usui’s passing in 2009, his team continued the series under Yoshito Usui & UY Studio, keeping Shin-chan’s legacy alive.
The anime adaptation has been airing for 32 years and still continues to charm audiences worldwide. Over the years, Shin-chan's popularity has grown, leading to movies, TV specials, and video games.
