The Assam Agricultural University Veterinary (AAU VET) Entrance test, is a state-level medical entrance assessment exam conducted by Assam Agriculture University for admission into various UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
The exam where thousands of aspirants participate to pursue their dream of becoming an agricultural scientist or veterinary doctor is expected to be held in September 2021.
The registration process for the exam which is expected to begin from the 1st week of August 2021, is completely online, and aspirants need to visit the official website: www.aau.ac.in.
The registration process necessitates the requirement of a valid email ID and a phone number.
Some important documents which are required to be filled for the online application are: Mark sheet and pass certificate of 10 and 10+2, PRC, Category and Caste certificate, passport size photographs.
An online payment of Rs.1,100 is for UG and PG programmes and a payment of Rs.500 needs to be made for any other degree programmes.
After filling up the information, the application with the confirmation number form needs to be downloaded for future reference.
The examination conducted in English is pen-paper based.
The questions in the form of MCQs have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for a total of 150 Marks; subdivided as Physics: 45, Chemistry: 45, and Biology: 60.
Students shall score 1 mark for every correct answer and a negative mark of 0.25 for every wrong answer, with no deduction for unanswered questions.
The admit card for AAU VET 2021 is expected to be released by the 2nd week of September 2021.
Candidate needs to login using the application number and password, to download the admit card.
It is mandatory for the candidate to carry any government ID proof like PAN Card, Voter Id, Driving License, Aadhar Card, Passport along with the Admit Card, on the due date of the exam.
