UPSC:

One of the most toughest exams in India. Conducted in three different stages; Prelims, mains and the interview. It is the only way to get the prestigious positions like IAS, IFS, IPS, etc. Mostly held twice a year, the prelims in the month of June and the mains in the month of September which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission of India.

IIT-JEE:

Joint Entrance Examination is a common entrance exam test for Indian Institutes of Technology and engineering colleges. This exam has two levels JEE Main and JEE Advanced. It is conducted annually under the supervision of National Testing Agency (NTA).

NEET:

National eligibility cum entrance test is considered to be the toughest exam in medical field. Its purpose is to get admissions into courses like Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Dentist, AYUSH and veterinary in medical colleges in India.

CAT:

Common Admission Test is to get admission in Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in business schools in India. It is a national level computer based exam conducted by IIM.
CA: Chartered Accountant is administered under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It has three stages to crack the exam; Foundation stage, Intermediate stage and the Final stage. Its purpose is to be a Certified Chartered Accountant.
NDA: It is the toughest exam in the field of defence which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission of India. One who cracks this exam gets to serve in Indian Navy and Indian Air Force as wing of NDA.
CLAT: Common Law Admission Test is an entrance test in the field of Law which is conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities yearly. Its purpose is to get admission in the 24 national law universities of India for undergraduates and postgraduates courses.
UGC NET: UGC National Eligibility Test conducted under the National Testing Agency (NTA) which is held twice a year. If one cracks this test, one gets the eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
GATE: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an All India Exam which is conducted by GATE committee in India around 8 different regions. It is used to recruit jobs in Indian Oil, GAIL and Hindustan Petroleum. 
NID: NID Design Aptitude Test is conducted by National Institute of Design which is a national level entrance test. The aim of this entrance is to gate admission for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in design programs.
