Kachai Champra lemon is found mostly in Kachai of the Ukhrul district, Manipur.
Known as the Pride of Manipur, Kachai Lemon has a very high ascorbic acid percentage of 51 (highest for far in the citrus varieties). The juice content is also extremely high at 36-56 ml per fruit.
The tamarillo tree (or tree tomato) is found in kitchen gardens of Kohima, Wokha, Zunheboto, Kiphire, Tuensang, Mon and Phek.
