ITANAGAR: Arunachal Home Minister Bamang Felix on Thursday made his second visit to the PTC, Banderdewa quarantine facility to make sure that every basic facility is being provided to the students returning from other States of the country.

Speaking to the reporters, Felix said that the complaints of single toilet room for the students and other people have been solved. Portable cabin toilet has been installed and other needs like proper water, electricity and other facility is also been looked into.

"They are being provided with sanitizers, mask, soaps, and every facility to remain clean and safe," he added.

Felix also requested the students to cooperate with the team of workers as it is a crucial period when the State is fighting against the COVID pandemic.

"There is bit of problem in terms of providing accommodation and segregation of students; but in a couple of days, we will make sure that each problem is resolved," he said while adding that one cannot expect a homelike environment in a quarantine facility.

He also informed that each district in the State has quarantine facilities. The State government has appointed a COVID-19 nodal officer for each district. Once the students and other people from the State arrive, they will be sent to their respective districts, he added.
