12 masjid committees donate to Chief Minister's Relief Fund

DIBRUGARH: In another attempt to help the government fight the battle against COVID-19, 12 masjid committees of Dibrugarh came together to donate a collective amount of Rs 82,000 toward the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. A team of prominent members of the community, including Dr Ahmedullah Khan, Giyasuddin Ahmed and Imran Hussain, handed over the draft to Deputy Commissioner Pallab Gopal Jha on Saturday at the DC's office. The members of the masjid committees also pledged to extend similar assistance in the country's interest in the ensuing days if need be.
