Health Minister Sarma reviews  GMCH hostels’ situation, appeals to students not to panic

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has, on Saturday, visited the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital's PG hostel and the Regional Dental College's girl hostel and appealed to the resident students to not panic. A GMCH PG students and a Dental College girl student have tested positive for the deadly new coronavirus. In order to assess the ground situation there, the Health Minister visited the Medical College and Hospital. After the stock-taking visit, he tweeted, "Visited PG hostel, GMCH to meet residents & check on containment measures being taken. Also went to Regional Dental College Girls hostel enquire about resident doctors. Requested everyone not to panic and take care of themselves. MoS Pijyush Hazarika present"
