NCHAC will ensure justice to Santosh Hojai's kin: CEM Debolal Gorlosa

HAFLONG: NC Hills Autonomous Council Chief Executive Member (CEM) Debolal Gorlosa wanted the culprits who were involved in Santosh Hojai's killing to be booked soon while assuring that the NCHAC would not leave any stone unturned till justice was delivered to the family of Santosh Hojai and the people of Dima Hasao.
CEM Gorlosa was addressing a press meet held on Saturday at his official residence in presence of Samuel Changsan, Amendu Hojai, executive members. Prajit Hojai, MAC informed that he, along with his colleagues, met the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Health Minister Himanta Biswas Sarma, DG(P) and ADGP (Law & Order) on May 6 and apprised about the incident related to Hojai's kidnapping and killing wherein Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Health Minister Himanta Biswas Sarma, DG(P) and ADGP (Law & Order) assured them to take appropriate action. He also said that all the ex-cadres and leaders of both factions of disbanded Dima Halam Daogah held a meeting on May 5 and decided to work unitedly and to help others to find out the culprits. Further, he said that the killing of Santosh Hojai, an established business man has created a void in the society; therefore, such an act of any organization would not be allowed in Dima Hasao at any cost. The culprit should be punished.
