NAHARKATIA: In the distressing time of COVID-19 pandemic, a rare photograph captured in the camera of Nagen Baruah, an employee of Oil India Ltd, Duliajan, has opened a new dimension for nature lovers. He had captured a rare white crow in his camera a week ago near the Duliajan field headquarters of the company. The white crow was with other crows when nature lover Nagen Baruah clicked the photo. Noted environment activist and director of Nature's Beckon, Soumyadeep Dutta termed the photograph as a rare case. Dutta identified the crow as a house crow.

"Though the bird is a normal white crow according to my observation, yet it has provided an interesting view as I have not seen a complete white crow in my life," said Soumyadeep Dutta. "It will be interesting to observe if there are any other white crows in Duliajan area. The bird will open new doors of studies for bird lovers," added Dutta stated.
