Road Accident: Bus passengers injured at Kenduguri village in Boko

BOKO4: A road accident took place on NH-17 at Kenduguri village, Boko on Wednesday afternoon. A passenger bus was coming from Agartala towards Dhubri. The bus had 14 passengers who were stuck in Agartala due to the countrywide lockdown. A passenger of the bus said that the bus driver was drunk and driving at a high speed. He lost control and the bus hit a tree and then an e-rickshaw. After the accident, the driver of the bus escaped from the spot. Local public and Boko Police reached the spot and admitted the injured passengers at Boko Primary Health Centre. Five of them were referred to GMCH for better treatment. They have been identified as Rajibul, Lalchand, Jakaria, Dilip Das and Pintu Deb Nath.
