Safety from COVID-19 is in our hands: Former MP Urkhao Gwra Brahma

KOKRAJHAR: Former Rajya Sabha MP Urkhao Gwra Brahma shared his observation that safety from the deadly coronavirus pandemic was in the hands of the people. Brahma said the decision to relax some lockdown restrictions was taken under economic compulsion. The declining economic growth and increasing rate of unemployment have forced the government to open some business establishments and production industries but it does not mean that the pandemic is over, he said. He added that it is up to the people now to strictly adhere to the guidelines of social distancing and sanitization in daily lives. In fact, our safety is now in our hands. He called upon all to stay at home and stay safe.
