TINSUKIA: The National Chamber of Commerce (NCC), Tinsukia, donated a sanitization machine at the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Wednesday. Manufactured by Tinsukia-based Paban Steel Company, the sanitization machine was formally inaugurated by Bhaskar Pegu, DC of Tinsukia, in presence of Minister of State for Tea Tribe Welfare, Sanjay Kishan and Digboi MLA Suren Phukan.

Earlier, Sushil Modi, owner of the company, demonstrated the usage of the machine. The DC in his address appreciated the NCC Tinsukia for the overwhelming support during the lockdown period, particularly in distribution of food grains and other social activities. Hira Lal Sharma, president of National Chamber of Commerce, who initiated the move, appraised the gathering that efforts would be made to donate more in some public places in future.
