Assamese man dies in Hospital in Kerala

Amid growing fear for new coronavirus infection, a man from Assam, who was staying in Kerala, died at a local hospital from liver disease, on April 17. As per reports, Bijoy Krishnan, 23 was admitted to Government Medical College Hospital, Kalamassery, on April 11 for liver complications. Since then he was undergoing treatment at the hospital and passed away on Friday. However, he tested negative for COVID-19, the state Health Department revealed. A senior Health official said that Krishnan’s samples were tested for three times and in all the three tests the results were negative. The youth was working at a commercial establishment in Kalamassery for the past six months, officials said.
