Party workers join BPF

Bongaigaon, 18: As many as 86 workers of different political parties joined BPF on Friday. The workers are from different parties including the Indian National Congress and the UPP. Leaders like Nazir Hussein, general secretary of the Bongaigaon district Congress committee, central organizing secretary of UPP Mohamoti Basumatary, and Rahima Khatun of Chirang district unit of the UPP were among these who joined the BPF on Friday at a meeting held in the BPF office, Chirang in presence of Minister Chandan Brahma, Chirang district president of the BPF Paniram Brahma and many others. Chandan Brahma welcomed the new entrants while urging them to work for the development of BTAD. Addressing the gathering, Nazir Hussein said that his experience as a worker of the Congress has taught him that the congress has no ideology pertaining to development in the living condition of the common people. “Hence I joined the BPF so that I can work for the development of people,” he said.
