Dibrugarh, May 28: President of Bogibeel Panchayat, Jatin Gogoi, and four other people were accused of behaving maliciously with a woman recently. Following the allegation levelled by the woman, the police filed a complaint under sections 143, 447, 354, 323, 294 and 506 of IPC against Gogoi and the other accused, namely, Kamal Gogoi, Gauri Nath Gogoi, Pulen Gogoi and Nakul Gogoi. As per sources, based on the accusation, the police have started investigating into the matter and summoned some of the accused to the police station for interrogation. On the other hand, the ones who were accused also filed a counter-allegation with the police.
