Hailakandi, May 21: Section 144 CrPC has been clamped within a radius of 500 meters of the District Firing Range located at Serispore tea estate in Hailakandi district. In an order issued by District Magistrate, Adil Khan here on Monday, the prohibitory order will remain in force from May 22 to 25 between 6 am to 4 pm within 500 metre radius of the firing range in view of the annual range classification firing training of A-Coy, 147 Battalion. “No persons or their domestic animals are allowed to enter within the range of 500 meters of the firing range during the period,” the order said. The district administration has clamped 144 CrPC following request from Superintendent of Police, Mohneesh Mishra on May 18.
