Son of BJP MP arrested for consuming liquor in dry state Bihar

Rahul Kumar, 18-year-old son of Hari Manjha, MP of Gaya was arrested for consuming alcohol against prohibition law, imposed in the state on April 5, 2016. He along with his two friends were taken into Judicial custody from a village near Bodh Gaya, said Garima Malik senior superintendent of Police, Gaya.Police officer Shuv Kumar Mato while speaking to the media said, “Police conducted medical examination of Manjhi’s son and it was confirmed that he consumed liquor”.However, Manjhi has consecutively denied the charges pressed against his son and has said that it’s a trap to defame him ahead of the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
