A Bold Step

There were discussions in regard to abrogation of Article 30 and 35A of our constitution by every government. But due to lack of absolute majority of members in Parliament of the government in power, it was not materialized. But now, the BJP government in power, having absolute majority of members in Parliament, dared to take the bold step to scrap Articles 470 and 35A. It will have far-reaching effects. Let us wait and see its effects inside and outside of our country. Anyhow, it is welcome.
