Books and journals

Reading books and journals is habituated by most people. Regular reading checks stress of mind. It also protects from Alzeheimer’s disease. In spite of such good effects, books are not declared as essential items. This retards the habit of purchasing, particularly in the lockdown period. I would, therefore, request the government to declare books and journals as essential items so that the people who like reading books and journals, partocularly senior citizens, are not hampered. Students of schools, colleges and universities should also be bookworms.
