COVID-19 and Assam

Thanks to State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who has been working tirelessly to control the spread of the pandemic in the State, moving from one part of the State to the other continuously for the past forty days overseeing the arrangement that may be required for treating the COVID-19 patients or for that matter facilities required for quarantine of doubtful cases, doctors, health workers and nurses who are being engaged for treatment of the COVID -19 patients. Everything has been so meticulously planned under his leadership that there is no room for any complaints from any side.

Not only is he thinking about the patients but also for the people of the State staying outside and having to face hardship for the lockdown. Arranging ambulance for bringing body from Gujarat, arranging transportation from Kota to Guwahati for students studying there and receiving them at 3 am at the Sarusajai Stadium without any rest are some of the deeds he has been doing relentlessly. We the people of the State are extremely grateful to him.

Through your esteemed newspaper we would like to extend our gratitude to him and pray to Almighty to give him more strength so that he can serve the state.
