Devastating floods

Incessant rainfall causing devastating flood in large part of Assam submerged large area of paddy fields and destroyed embankments. As a result most people have to take shelter in path with some essentials and their cattle in safe places as per their convenience.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visits other States when flood occurs and announces packages in such situation. But, in case of Assam he has given step-motherly treatment. He could not spare his time to visit devastating floods of Assam.
