Dhoni retires

The pandemic may have spoilt MS Dhoni's plans to hang up his boots in style, by helping India win the T-20 World Cup earlier scheduled for this year. Hailing from a middle-class family in a small city in Jharkhand, Dhoni's maiden job was as a Travelling Ticket Examiner in Indian Railways. He had a passion for football in his initial days and later this goal keeper turned out to be a wicket keeper and Dhoni landed in cricket stadiums to play his helicopter shots. Dhoni has won India three ICC trophies - T20 World Cup 2007, Cricket World Cup 2011, & ICC Champions Trophy 2013, achievements unparalleled in cricketing history. The world of sports will never see the likes of him for generations to come.
